The standard GDI 2.4L 4-cylinder engine is a technology marvel. It features Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT) and Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) to deliver 185 hp and 178 lb.-ft. of torque. Furthermore, you can opt for the more powerful 2.0T with 240HP.
An update of Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture design gives Santa Fe Sport a more athletic attitude. It’s seen clearly at the rear of this sleek SUV with a new front and rear fascia and taillight design.
Every Santa Fe Sport engine is mated to Hyundai’s 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® which balances power delivery with impressive fuel efficiency.
No need to kick or shuffle your feet to open the rear liftgate! You can automatically open it with this available feature by simply standing within three feet behind the vehicle for more than three seconds with the Proximity Key. The handy height-adjustable function allows users to stop the tailgate at various heights to avoid low overhangs. And with up to 71.5 cubic feet of cargo space you’ve got the room to bring along all of the essential gear you need for your next adventure.
Available 8-inch touchscreen. Leather seating surfaces. 19-inch alloy wheels. Put it all together and take your Santa Fe Sport out on the open road.
The available Active Cornering Control AWD gives drivers improved traction and greater cornering capability in turns by transferring engine torque to the rear wheels and applying braking force to the inside rear wheel. The result is improved cornering performance and all-weather capability.
You can count on Hyundai’s commitment to your safety. Take a moment to get a greater understanding and appreciation of the many advanced safety features that are available on Santa Fe Sport.
Some like it hot. Others prefer keeping it cool. Either way this available feature ends those front-seat climate conflicts by letting the driver and front seat passenger set and monitor temperatures separately.
Research has shown that sunlight and fresh air are good for you. This huge, available panoramic sunroof gives you more of both compared to regular-sized sunroofs. Drive healthy.
The available 8-inch touchscreen navigation system offers voice-recognition for directions without distractions. SiriusXM Travel Link® can search for nearby businesses like gas stations, ATMs or restaurants. It also gives you a clear picture of current traffic situations, the weather, stocks and sports, all in real time. Plus, it can even let you know fuel prices and movie times.

This available radar-based system helps detect when a vehicle is in the driver’s blind spot and provides both an audible and a visual alert. When reverse gear is selected, Rear Cross-traffic Alert helps identify and warn of vehicles approaching from the side. Lane Change Assist measures the closing speed of an approaching vehicle in the adjacent lane to determine if changing lanes is safe and if it’s not, gives a warning the driver can both see and hear.
Imagine what you could see with a lighting system that moves as you do. Well, that’s the idea behind Santa Fe Sport’s available Dynamic Bending Light. It’s designed to turn the headlights with the direction of the curve as you turn the steering wheel.
The Automatic Emergency Braking system uses both a camera and radar sensor. If a crash is imminent and the driver does not react, the system deploys Automatic Emergency Braking. The system can even apply full brake-force stopping power from 5 to 50 mph. When a pedestrian is detected, full stopping power is automatically applied from 5 to 43 mph.
This available system features four cameras that provide a 360-degree view around the entire vehicle or an aerial view. The system can also be controlled to offer front, rear and side camera views. All camera views are displayed on the nav screen at low parking speeds, the display then automatically switches back to the normal display.
