With two highly efficient 4-cylinder engines and a more responsive 6-speed transmission, the Elantra sedan can take you farther on less fuel. With an EPA-estimated 38 MPG on the highway.
Its 173-hp 2.0L engine, special 17-inch alloy wheels and sport-tuned suspension and steering make it the perfect choice for a freeway on-ramp or your favorite twisty, two-lane back road.
The sophisticated technology in the Elantra sedan’s available 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® improves durability and reduces weight. So you can enjoy better fuel efficiency with smoother acceleration on the highway. And a healthy balance of power and comfort for navigating in-town traffic.
Get a greater sense of control and satisfaction at the wheel courtesy of Hyundai’s innovative Driver Selectable Steering Mode (DSSM). Standard on the Elantra Limited, this feature lets you select one of three operating modes—Comfort, Normal or Sport—and adapt the steering characteristics to a range of driving preferences.s.
Elantra Sport is a fresh take on a more efficient sporty sedan. Its 173-hp engine and sport-tuned suspension and steering give it power and agility. Plus it’s packed with added features including projector headlights with LED accents, LED tail lights, chrome beltline molding and exhaust tip, all set off by 17-inch alloy sport wheels. It’s definitely a sportier way to go.
The available 17-inch alloy wheels and all-season tires on both Sport and Limited models look great and provide added grip over a variety of road surfaces and weather conditions.
Attractive available fog lights, side mirrors with turn-signal indicators and a driver’s blind spot mirror are brilliantly integrated into Elantra’s overall design. These details increase visibility and offer added safety and visual appeal.
Keep yourself and your front passenger comfortable even as conditions outside the car change. The dual-zone automatic temperature control system with CleanAir Ionizer is standard on Elantra Limited.
There’ll be no more fumbling for the key in your pocket with this feature which is standard on the Limited. Elantra recognizes your proximity key and, with a push of a button on the door handle, immediately unlocks the door for you. Then you can get in, press the ignition button and go.
The Elantra doesn’t just boast more front leg room than the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. The smartly designed interior also gives you more total space and more cargo volume than the Honda Civic. In fact, the Elantra sedan is so roomy, the government classifies it as a midsize car instead of a compact.
The available navigation system with 7-inch display has Pandora® integration* and can be controlled via voice recognition or interactive touchscreen and will even let you create your own picture slide show. You can use it to search for gas stations, ATMs or restaurants. Or get a clear picture of the current traffic situations, weather, stocks and sports scores, all in real time.

We’re always looking for ways to help keep you safe behind the wheel. That’s why we’ve added an available driver’s blind spot mirror and loaded the Elantra sedan with active safety features to help prevent accidents, plus advanced passive safety features in case an accident can’t be avoided.
NHTSA studies show passenger cars equipped with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) experience 35% fewer single-vehicle crashes, and 30% fewer single-vehicle fatalities. ESC helps compensate for over or understeering by predicting your intended path and applying just the right amount of braking force to individual wheels to help you maintain control.
ESC also includes a Traction Control System (TCS). When roads get slick, TCS kicks in to help reduce wheelspin and helps give you the stable acceleration you need. So even when the weather gets bad, Traction Control will help give you a commanding performance on the road.
Despite all of the Elantra sedan’s advanced preventative safety features, sometimes accidents are just unavoidable. That’s why we’ve loaded the sedan’s interior with six front, side-impact and side-curtain airbags to help keep you and your passengers safe.
